Project: Psychology of the Self

As part of a “The Self and Self-Esteem” academic module, this group project involved an in-depth analysis of Top Gun: Maverick through the lens of social psychology. We applied and extended key concepts such as self-concept, self-presentation, and social comparison to explore character development and interpersonal dynamics in the film. The project required independent research beyond the taught syllabus, critical analysis, and collaborative synthesis of psychological theories in a real-world media context.
