About the role

We are looking for a driven and outgoing Business Development Executive to join a growing team. If you enjoy speaking with customers, building relationships and developing new business opportunities, this could be a good fit for you.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting and lead generation

• Reach out to potential customers through phone calls, emails and other sales channels

• Understand customers' business needs and introduce suitable products or services

• Conduct product/service presentations and explain solutions to prospective customers

• Prepare quotations and follow up with customers on sales opportunities

• Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing customers

• Manage the sales process from initial prospecting through negotiation and closing

• Follow up on leads and maintain a healthy sales pipeline

• Work towards assigned sales targets and KPIs

• Provide after-sales follow-up to maintain good customer relationships

Requirements

• Prior experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management or customer-facing roles is advantageous

• Candidates with customer service experience who are keen to move into sales are welcome to apply

• Comfortable with cold calling and approaching new customers

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated and comfortable working towards targets

• Able to work independently and as part of a team
