Role Summary Sanlux Asia Pacific, a global manufacturer of power transmission systems, is seeking a driven and ambitious Regional Sales Manager / Engineer to grow our presence across the APAC region. This role blends technical product expertise with sales and channel development, building distributor capability while generating leads and closing business through regular regional travel. The ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, and excited to build long-term customer relationships in a fast-paced industrial market. Key Responsibilities Identify, pursue, and convert new sales leads across Southeast Asia to grow regional revenue Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, OEMs, and end-user customers Travel regularly throughout the region to meet clients, attend trade shows, and represent Sanlux at industry events Establish and deliver technical training programmes to equip distributors, partners, and customers to represent and support Sanlux products Develop and execute marketing initiatives that support lead generation and brand visibility in target markets Track the sales pipeline, prepare quotations, and follow up on opportunities through to close Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer needs to inform sales and marketing strategy Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field 2–5 years of experience in technical sales or marketing, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to engage technical and business stakeholders alike Experience delivering technical training to distributors or customers is a strong advantage Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting is a plus Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout Southeast Asia Prior exposure to mechanical components, belting, or power transmission products is an advantage but not required Working Conditions & Expectations This is a full-time, field-based role requiring frequent travel throughout Southeast Asia, including multi-day trips to meet clients and attend industry events. Time between trips will be spent at the Sanlux Asia Pacific office coordinating leads, reporting, and marketing activities. A valid passport and flexibility with travel schedules are required. Candidates should be comfortable representing the company independently and maintaining a professional, energetic presence with clients and partners across the region.
