Building Community Through Kindness

As a content writer and video producer for The Pride under the Singapore Kindness Movement, I’ve had the privilege of telling stories celebrating kindness in everyday life.

One recent project that stood out was covering Steven Lim, a Singaporean who took it upon himself to foster stronger ties with his neighbours. He transformed his floor into a close-knit community through block parties and casual gatherings. From interviewing Steven to producing a compelling video feature, this project reinforced the power of storytelling in inspiring others to take small yet meaningful steps toward kindness. Seeing his efforts resonate with our audience was a reminder of why I love what I do — bringing authentic, impactful narratives to life.
