Documentary Project: Little Sister

This is a documentary I completed independently. I served as the director, editor and photographer. Through this project, I hope to get into the families under China's new policy - the three-child policy, and see the changes in the lives of ordinary people brought about by the policy from the changes in this family. During the filming process, I not only saw the changes that the birth of a male child brought to the existing women in the family, but also how the deep-rooted Chinese mentality of favoring boys over girls affects generation after generation.
