Hi, I am Audrey! I am a dedicated Diploma in Human Resource Management with Psychology student who is passionate about understanding people, supporting positive work environments, and contributing to meaningful employee experiences. My interest in the human resource field is driven by a genuine curiosity about how individuals think, behave, and develop within organisations. I am motivated by the idea of creating workplaces that are fair, inclusive, and supportive of personal and professional growth. Through my academic journey, I have built a strong foundation in key HR areas such as talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, learning and development, and organisational behaviour. My psychology background has also helped me understand topics such as communication styles, motivation, cognitive patterns, and employee well-being. This combination enables me to approach people-related responsibilities with empathy, structure, and a thoughtful understanding of human behaviour. Beyond academics, my experiences as an Executive Committee member in my Infocomm Club have shaped many of the qualities I apply to my work. I supported the president and teacher-in-charge in organising events, planning activities, and managing logistical tasks. I also guided club members during photography, videography, and coding sessions, contributing to a collaborative and encouraging environment. My involvement in external competitions, including photography, videography, and coding challenges such as the AWS competition, strengthened my multitasking, communication, and leadership abilities. Balancing my Co-Curricular Activities and academic work taught me the importance of time management, conflict management, and adaptability. Working with diverse groups of people helped me refine my communication style, practise active listening, and develop a strong sense of teamwork and responsibility. As I continue my studies, I hope to gain hands-on experience through HR internships, particularly in recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, and HR operations. I enjoy supporting others, coordinating activities, and contributing to smooth organisational processes. My long-term goal is to build a meaningful career in human resource management where I can integrate psychology principles with practical HR skills to create engaging and supportive work cultures. I am eager to keep learning, growing, and taking on opportunities that will strengthen both my professional and personal development.
